rightly you have no warranty any more, but this phone is so mess that i had to repaired it on a nokia shop. and they repaired it without they have seen it. so i dont think that you have to be scared. so i did it and it works, and the phone is now faster without any problems

this phone had a lot of problems wen it came out. . . i see tht its much better now. . . im planning to buy this phone so is it a worth buy now?? i wont regret after buyin it rite that is with the 31001 softhware??

I updated my firmware with Nokia Software Updater software I installed in my computer. . u just need Nokia 5800′s USB cable, a computer and that software. . make sure to install the software first and run it. . it will guide you through the updating process. . but b4 doing so, u must backup ur phone(of course) and don’t ever stop the updating in process cause it will severely damage ur phone. . (that’s what the software say ). . sorry for the late reply
