Lol thnx That was exactly what I thought (a friend of mine has had the Diamond for quite some tim), but
I “bought” the Magic in the end and Im very happy with it!
I just dont like Windows Mobile that much(apart from the look, that’s fine) and the difference between the touch friendly and the stylus-depending screens
I love Android (even though a lot can be improved) and the Android Market (opensource, more developer friendly than AppleStore)
(Iphone is a great phone but I like the open source and more develop friendlier Android I also dont want to “have what everyone else has” if there are great alternatives…oh and I didnt have to pay a dime for the Magic in my €32,- unlimited internet contract!
Iphone is great but apple is to me the overpriced IKEA (though better quality;-) of multimedia…no matter how great the product is, its just plane boring because everyone has it..bleh! haha
i find htc’s touch very responsive and much better than nokia’s.
LG is good-ish. i had a viewty. the phone was packed with a lot of functions, but had a small CPU. ( the camera was great )
never had a samsung, never gonna buy one.
now i have a 5800 – and it’s the best phone you can buy at that amount of money
i know what im talking about,
ive had a HTC and its software was very slow and its functions didnt work good.
LG just makes cool looking phones but they are not as good as they look. the touch screens are hard to use and the phones are very slow.
Samsung is just a copy of nokia, the phones are bad
Nokia phones are made very durable and last long the touch screen in 5800 is awesome. and in common – nokia makes very good phones.
and you can update your software atleast 5 times. its ftw.
The updates has nothing to do with screwups, they just make old phones worth using. a fully updated 5800 is a really decent phone that I actually preffer against htc magic/hero and wildifre. I’ve tried them all and yes the nokias screen may be slow but I never found it laggy or jittery in any way. The sound quality is great and multi touch? <.< Get a computer if you have such bad eyesight that you can't read the "small" text. And games, get a psp or DS god.. Phones are phones, remember that.
what the hell?
What would you advice?:
1: HTC Touch Diamond 2
2: HTC Magic
3: LG Renoir (KC910) or ViewtySmart?..
4: Nokia Xpress Music (5800)
5: Samsung Jet
??
5800
kinectic scrolling?
HTC Touch Diamond 2…. Its the best among the varieties phone in ur list…
If you do not like it, go for jet… or Nokia 5800…

what the hell are you on about, im not talking about “A” HTC, im on about the HTC hero and no its not slow at all.
in fact its just as fast if not faster then a 3g iphone so stop talking out your ass mate.
compare hero’s 500mhz processor vs nokia’s 400mhz
not to mention HTC is multi touch.
also they don’t need as many updates because nokia keep screwing up and releasing newer ones.
the nokia updates always give new cool things and they make the software better and faster so that the phone will be very long lasting.
@snake172 I agree I have owned the 5800 and I now have the HTC Hero the hero’s Android OU is far superior to Symbian. Symbian has long being outdated.
Does this supports Arabic Unicode ?
I am 5800 owner and i am very happy that i bought this phone
