Unboxing my Nokia 5800 (Part 3)
After returning the HTC magic, my trusted SE K770i was falling apart. I am talking a lot hence the three part Unboxing Video. I paid £116 for the handset and am on a £8/month contract for 12 months with Vodafone (150 min and 500 texts). I didn’t want to be tied down with a long contract as I am waiting for new Android based Phones. Apologies for the video being very dark….Enjoy!!!
I signed up for a director’s account, which allowed me to post videos over 10 minutes long. From your Channel Info page, click on “change channel type” and you can select “Director” as the type of account you’d like. Once you’ve converted to a Director Account, you’ll be able to create or choose your own customized logo.
Just to say thanks for the unboxing videos of both this Nokia model and the HTC Magic. Currently I am considering purchasing one of these phones however it would most likely be a long term contract.
As such, in your opinion which of the two phones is the best in terms of build quality and what is the music player interface on the magic like?
I terms of build quality, the htc magic has a more solid feel with little or no creaks. i would recommend the magic if you are happy with a long term contract for about £25-30 a month. the interface and the whole android OS is a joy to use and is honestly quite fun. there is a forthcoming update coming for android called ‘rosie’ and just looks incredible.
i went for the 5800 purely because im a bit tight for cash atm. its a good phone with proper bluetooth, louder speakers, 3.5mm jack and led flash. it all came down to money for me. i am enjoying the 5800, but i definitely enjoyed the magic a lot lot more. i am going to go back to android at the end of my contract. just waiting for the new handsets to roll out.
i like this Phone.
huumm pretty good review! Maybe i’ll get that phone…
hey good video could you do a video about all the stuff you can do on the mob like what apps it has and stuff please
please tell me what that is the pin code 1:49 / 3:55 and does it apply with all 5800 and t-mobile?
does the vodafone put icons in the main manu of the nokia 5800???
Sorry, i am not english…
Please i need an anwser…
does it have wifi?
yes
I didn’t have any on my 5800.
universal or default pin codes tend to be 1234 or 0000
I am stuck between this and HTC Tattoo which is better
Between the two, i would go for the tattoo purely because of android and htc sense. The 5800 might have some slightly better hardware spec but i’d stick to the tattoo.
you know your flash does it work and, when you take of the phone case at the back, there is a red light in between the 2 led flash there is a little round sensor at the top does your red light work because my flash doesnt……do you know how to help me work the flash ive turned it on and still no flash…..
